The Invicta Model Flyers is a BMFA and BARCS Registered Model Aero Club based in mid Kent, UK.

The focus of the Invicta Model Flyers is to bring people together in the Kent area who have an interest in Radio Controlled Silent Flight - mainly Thermal and Slope Soaring.

The Club benefits from having exclusive use of a slope soaring site near Wrotham and several flat fields near Sutton Valence (see the "Flying Sites" tab for directions and more details).

The Club has gained an enviable reputation in the field of R/C soaring. National level trophies have been won by members and the club organised “Interglide” in 1996 (150 entrants), Interglide 97 to co-incide with the inaugural F3J world championships plus many more recent events. The club supports and provides entrants for many national (and international) thermal soaring events.

The focus of the Club is to provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and so existing members are always more than happy to help people learn to fly RC gliders - we are lucky to have several competition hardened flyers as well as BMFA registered examiners for those wishing to take BMFA proficiency tests.

Quiet electric assisted gliders are permitted at the Club flying sites but not I/C power models.
